Lava Cart only designs the shelf systems and accessories. We first started making DIY upgrade kits for customers to modify their own RocknRoller® Mulitcarts.

The cart frames (RocknRoller®) can be purchased seperately or along with a one of our shelf systems. Start by opening the EGON or MOTI. You'll see all buying options inside.

The EGON measures at 40.00" x 23" (Top Shelf), and 16.00" x 40.00" (Bottom Shelf) Weight = 33lbs

The MOTI measures at 28.00" x 23" (Top Shelf), and 16.00" x 28.00" (Bottom Shelf) Weight = 23lbs

Our shelf is designed to lock cart arms to their tight position. This can vary based on tollerances of the cart manufacture. If you have wobble issues, we have solutions!
Use one of the nylon sinch straps incuded with your shelf to create a 45º gusset brace. Simply hook with strap to one of the long slats on your shelf, and tie the other end of the strap to the cart frame near the front caster and pull the sinch tight. You'll immediatly have amazing tension and stability.

If you are using the ROCKNROLLER R12, we make a tensioner acessory.  

For Gator cart users, there is a hex screw at the arm hinge. You should regularly tighten this connection for best stability results.

Our work surfaces are made of anodized aluminum, hardened steel, ABS molded plastics, and select grade premium grade veneered ply woods.

The surfaces of the MOTI and EGON is veneered with a hard poly laminate that has subtile hexagonal texture.

We ship from Upstate New York. When items are in stock, we default to UPS ground. Shipping takes 1-4 days for East coast and mid west cites, and 4-7 business days for west coast cities. We do offer next day air shipping option if you need your order right away! For customers outside of North America, the shipping time is typically 5-10 business days.

If the website says the item is in stock, your order will typically ship the same or next business day. If the product says, "Pre-Order" it means we are currently working on a batch of products. This may take several weeks.

Most carts will not require this. However, we can’t guarantee this since there are variables with the cart manufacturing. The holes on your cart should be 5/16”. You can test the holes by inserting a 5/16” bolt into the holes of your cart. If the bolt fits without force, our rods will fit.

We currently do not have any distributors. We only sell direct to consumers from this website.

The North American power outlet has an output of 125V/12A/60Hz, Maximum Voltage 15A, 1875W. The USB Port is 5V 2.1A, with built-in smart charging technology, can detect your devices current's needs and charging efficiently and adjust the current output giving you optimal charging effectively.

Most carts like the R12 or Gator carts, the working height is about 38” from the floor. Also, most carts have several holes for mounting hight options. Check the compatible carts page for more details.

Yes! You can use the EGON Shelf system with the R18. However, you will need to re-configure your rail end blocks to accommodate the wide handle width. Check the user manual for details. It's easy!

We sell the “Monitor Mount” It's a pole mount that can go through your Grommet holes on your work surface.

This depends on your country import rules and laws. Most likely yes, but declared values are low for international customers. We cannot ship RocknRoller products outside USA. If you need help finding RocknRoller products in your country, please contact our support team.
