Each LavaFlat includes two collapsible poles. You only really need one, but you can insert a pole into the bottom pole pocket for a more rigid flat hanging panel. Additionally, you can loop the bottom pole back up to the top knob to create a 4'x4' panel. Just flip the panel for white or black.
